Do you know Anything about the Acme Split Bamboo Rod Company of New York?

Acme rods were trade rods made for and sold by Schoverling, Daly, & Gales of NY. They were made by Charles Wheeler, of Farmington, ME from the early 1880's to the early 1890's.
