The Boy Scouts of America only has one jamboree- the national Scout jamboree held every four years or so. The 2013 National Scout Jamboree will be held at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia.Similar events at district, council or other levels are usually called camporees or camporalls. Sometimes these are called jamborees, but the BSA officially reserves that term only for the national event. The BSA is a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), an international association for Scouting organizations. WOSM has a world Scout jamboree every four years or so. The 23rd World Scout Jamboree will be held in Japan in 2015Other Scouting organizations and international associations also have jamborees.
