What is the importance of using sustainable resources?

The importance of using sustainable resources is to protect our Natural Resources. Using sustainable resources and materials is good for the environment.
Because sustainable basically mean something we can keep doing/using, for generation after generation. Non-sustainable, that's things that will run out. Stuff that our kids, or their kids would have to do without. Kinda egotistic to use things up like that.
