Where did George T. Sampson the inventor reside?

George T. Sampson, who is credited with being the first inventor to come up a design for a clothes dryer (he got a patent for his invention in June of 1892), was born in Palmyra, New York, but during his adult life, he lived in Dayton, Ohio.
