How do you change the battery in a Audi A6?

I only know the 2000 model A6. The battery is located where the wiper motor seems to be, under a flap that can be removed. The rest of the plastic cover will also need to be removed and some piping lifted out of position to remove the battery. Regards Oloff Crous
