Fixed partition memory management offers simplicity and ease of implementation, as memory is divided into fixed-size segments, making allocation straightforward. However, its main disadvantage is inefficient memory utilization; if a process requires less memory than a partition size, the remaining space is wasted (internal fragmentation).
