Smoking or vaporizing Promethazine will work but it is an antihistamine sedative. Taking Promethazine will usually just cause you to get a dry mouth and become very tired or fall asleep. It can also cause restless legs which is very uncomfortable. It doesn't cause any euphoria. In fact it is a mild Dopamine antagonist so it temporarily reduces the level of Dopamine in certain parts of your brain, most recreational drugs increase the level of Dopamine in your brain.
