The Middle Kingdom, which lasted from approximately 2000 BCE to 1650 BCE, was characterized by a period of stability, economic prosperity, and cultural flourishing in Egypt. Therefore, while the Persian Empire eventually became a significant force in the region, it did not exist during the time of Egypt's Middle Kingdom.
