Who killed brithnoth?

Brithnoth, the Anglo-Saxon ealdorman, was killed during the Battle of Maldon in 991 AD. He was defeated by a Viking army led by Olaf Tryggvason. In the battle, Brithnoth famously fell while defending his troops, and his death marked a significant moment in the conflict between the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings.
