An archaelogist finds a coin dated 55BC he immedialely knows its a fake. how?

What makes it fake is the date, the BC part.

Because if the coin was really made in 55 BC, then Jesus Christ wasn't born yet. Then how could they say that they made it 55 years before Christ was born when they didn't know when he was going to be born?
