Why did some person may not like Mao Zedong?

Mao's policies lead to the persecution of landlords, capitalists, non-Communist intellectuals, and religious figures, not to mention the leadership of several minority groups in China. Mao tolerated little ideological dissent and was well known for his lack of proper physical hygene and womanizing.
