What is a negative G?

A negative G, or negative gravitational force, occurs when an object experiences acceleration in the opposite direction of the gravitational pull, effectively creating a sensation of weightlessness or being "pushed" upward. This can happen in situations like rapid descent in an aircraft or during certain maneuvers in spaceflight. It can also be felt in amusement park rides that drop suddenly or during free fall. In extreme cases, negative G forces can lead to disorientation and physical challenges for the body.
