When did TVR go bust?

due to various factors tvr was split and relocated into two separate companies in 2006 tvr engineering ( the car design and build section) continued with the current available car models until 2012 when it was decided it was not financially viable to continue with the production. tvr power (the powertrain section) i believe is still in business
