Are there beaches in Sacramento

Being in the center of the Sacramento valley we are appox . 100 miles from the Pacific Ocean however there are rivers and lakes which have many beaches which provide facilities for boating and fishing . So yes Sacramento does have beaches but just not the ocean type..
