What are the causes of housing problems in the Philippines?

as a concern citizen of the Philippines and as i observed in my country..the only major cause of housing is OVERPOPULATION..why? because, the rapid growth population of the country is over 99 M as of 2010(NSO)..whereas, the demands of people in housing is increasing and if house is not provided it would be a problem..that's it...hehehe..KNT
