How much money do a veterinary make?

I am located in the midwest, and oversee a practice with 50+ employees. I have 20 years of experience in other industries, but only one year in vet medicine as a practice manager. My salary is 50,000 with a full benefits package and regular bonuses. My understanding is that the average salary in larger practices is anywhere between $45-$70k a year depending on experience. I have met some Practice Managers who make $12/hr, and they manage only 3-5 employees.
