In Arizona the window tint law is enforced using the Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). The VLT percentages allowable in Arizona are as follows: Windshield - Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line, Frontside Windows - Must allow more than 33% of light in, Backside Windows - Any darkness can be used, Rear window - Any darkness can be used but dual side mirrors are required if back window is tinted.
