How many scholars wrote the translation of the king James version bible?

There have been several. The original KJV was published in 1611 and included the books of the Apocrypha since the Church of England (which King James requested the KJV to validate) came from the Roman Catholic Church. Updates were printed in 1629 and 1638 by Cambridge. The 1769 Oxford edition is the one found today.
