How can you remove the vocals from a song?

There is no way to completely remove vocals from every recorded song. The most common way to get rid of MOST of the vocal sound is to use a process called center channel cancellation. There are plug-ins for major Digital Audio programs that do this, as well as stand-alone commercial programs, such as Roland's R-Mix.
