What is black people movement?

Generally this term refers to a movement in which African-American people try to gain civil rights, equal treatment to people of other races, etc, especially in the 1960s in the United States. Some examples of leaders of these movements are Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and Rosa Parks (not exactly a leader, but a famous figure).
