How can you find someone who taught social studies during World War 2?

Perhaps you could find and old history teacher at your school, and ask if they know where any of their old history teachers live or can be contacted.

You are trying for something very difficult.

Most young people were drafted or joined during the Second World War, so the only history teachers that would be left were those with a physical problem, or were too old to be in the military. That means they would be about 92 years old today.

Social studies was not taught as a school subject at that time, so bits of social studies would have been taught in History, Econmics and Civics.
