Who is Vincent Van Gogh best friend?

I believe it was his brother theo van gogh. The two were really close and theo tried to provide both financial and moral support just so Vincentcan follow his dreams of becoming a great painter. After Vincent commited suicide, theo who wasn't able to come in terms of his death, died only six months later due to a brain disease. What a great friend andbrother! They were buried side by side.
