Why do you think the Great Lakes should be included in the seven Natural Wonders of the Western Hemisphere?

The Great Lakes are the largest group of freshwater lakes in the world and contain about 84% of North America's surface freshwater. They are of utmost importance for biodiversity, Natural Resources, and environmental sustainability in the Western Hemisphere. Additionally, the Great Lakes offer stunning landscapes, unique geologic formations, and diverse ecosystems that deserve recognition as one of the natural wonders of the Western Hemisphere.
