Dr. Charles Stanley has pastored two churches during his career. He first served as the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta from 1971 to 2020. Following his retirement from that position, he became the pastor emeritus of the church. Additionally, he has also served as the president of In Touch Ministries, a global outreach ministry based in Atlanta, Georgia.
