When did zheng he set sail?

Zheng He, the Chinese explorer and diplomat, set sail for his first major voyage in 1405 during the Ming Dynasty. He undertook a series of seven expeditions between 1405 and 1433, exploring parts of Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and East Africa. These voyages aimed to establish trade routes and assert Chinese influence across the Indian ocean.
