When a daisy plant dies how do you pull of the dead heads.?

simply pluck the head off, if the stalk dries up you can remove it as well, for estetical reasons. You must be refering to "Dead Heading". The plant should not be dead, only the daisy flower (or any flowering plant, for that matter). Just simply pull off the spent blossom, and the plant will replace it with a new one.
