Is Pantene shampoo bad for your hair?

Well, a lot of people say that it's bad for you because it has wax in it (better known as dimethicone, or silicone), and then they recommend you a bunch of other ridiculously expensive hair products like salon stuff, or other stuff that I probably haven't even heard of. But the truth is that almost every shampoo and conditioner you can find at the grocery store (unless it's one of those organic brands) or even at the salon will have silicone in it. Silicone is not bad for your hair, and it does not break your hair down to little bits, like a lot of people on the internet have said. So, to make a long story short, no, Pantene shampoo is not bad for your hair. Sorry if my answer was too long! :P
