Is it wrong to have sexual feelings about your cousin?

Not in Islam apparently, although the progeny of such unions have a high incidence of malformation and mental challenge. The Australian government website, among many others, goes to great length in their discussion of the subject and their abhorence of it. my mom's brother and their first cousin married years ago and now have grandchildren. I dont think it is wrong.
