  • I think the best way to ask a hairdresser for an "emo " haircut, is to ask for a "scene" haircut. If they don't know what a scene haircut is, than maybe show them a picture of the hairstyle you want, and they'll cut it for you. That is, if they're a professional. But if they're a newb, than don't bring you're hopes up high.
  • The best things to do would be to take a picture in of what your wanting done ... ask for a bang and scene hair ect. they should be able to do it the style your wanting.
  • This answer depends on whether or not your hairstylist is updated on new hairstyles. I guess you would ask for "choppy and thinned out layers". I don't really think it makes a difference on which you ask for.
  • Just ask for a long sweeping side fringe with choppy short layers or just ask them to use a razor to cut your hair.
  • If your friend has "scene"hair and is 1 of your hairdressers clients u could remind them of that hair style which would give them a clearer idea of what your asking for!
  • I'm hopefully getting an emo haircut on Friday and my friend suggested to me to ask the hairdresser "Can i have an emo/scene hairstyle" and have a picture to show them of what i want.
