Where is 2001 Corolla engine block coolant drain plug located?

If you stand against the driver's side fender, facing the engine, it will be on the side of the block facing toward the rear of the car. If you bend at the waist and snake your right hand in front of the heat shield and just under the exhaust manifold with a 10 mm in a small handled 1/4" socket driver you can reach it. It's obvious once you see it--it's tall and stands away from the block about a 3/8"; but you can only see it from above with your head down. I spent alot of time on my back looking at the front of the block--it's not there; it's just under the end of the exhaust manifold toward the back of the engine.

If the manifold is hot, you will burn the back your hand just between the base of the thumb and first finger.
