Is it illegal for your old apartment managers to hold your mail if you broke your lease?

no they cant do that that is a felony they can hold your belongings but must go to small claims court and sue you for damages etc they cannot hold your mail as far as i know IRS is only branch of government that can legally seize your property without a warrant but that's uasally afta repeated attempts to collect on debt i would advise talkin to an attorney about the mail deal sounds like they are a lil crooked
