Why do you think some endangered species get more attention than others?

Animals that are very adaptable to habitat change and reproduce quickly are less likely to become endangered, because they can adapt to changes in their habitats caused by human activity, and if people kill large numbers of them, they can bounce back by reproducing quickly. On the other hand, large, specialized animals (such as panda bears), have trouble adapting to new environments and do not reproduce quickly.
