Yes, Narwhals [Monodon monoceros] drink water. But they don't tend to meet their water needs separately from their food needs. So they don't get their water in the same way as people [Homo sapiens sapiens], who drink from containers that only have water. Instead, they meet their water needs through the moisture content of the Arctic and polar aquatic foods that they suck in and swallow whole.
