Who was Fernando DePlancy?

DePlancy was a Portuguese man who is well known in his field for microbiology and genetics. He Also magic under Macgregor Mathers the mentor of the late Aleister Crowley. Deplancy later became a satanist and basically an inspiration to Anton Zander LaVey the founder of The Church of Satan. Deplancy died on August 14th 1945 after being struck by a toilet that was ripped loose by a victory celebrant and thrown from a theatre balcony.
