Can any company produce the American flag?

No because it has to be made a sertain way. According to the US Flag Code, any item which the viewer can reasonably interpret to be a United States Flag, IS a United States Flag. And as such, anyone--not just companies, but private citizens--can produce US flags. You can even make them at home.
