What does a person's alcohol preference say about their personality?

I think the best person to answer this question would be a counseler type of person, such as a LADC (licensed alcohol & drug counselar). I met with one about 3 years back, and I remember something about this exact question. Possibly, I am confused and he was talking about their eating habits, I don't honestly remember.
