Why would a buick park avenue keep stalling?

fule pump..happend to my 89 par ave...after i replaced all the emission controls..i went and looked at my fule pup...and that was the problem..its about a 300 to 400$ fix by a mechanic...but if u go to usautoparts.com u can get a pump for like 116$...hope this helps.. joe b
