Your fish had a hole in his side did your other fish kill him?

It is possible that the other fish injured the subject fish, BUT IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE that the fish with the "hole" had a skin infection which killed the tissue, and as the dead [necrotic] tissue decomposed it "washed away," leaving the hole.
