How is Bible comprised?

The Bible is comprised of 66 books, Genesis - Revelation. Of these books there are 39 Old Testament books, Genesis - Malachi , and 27 New Testament books, Matthew-Revelation . The Old Testament is made up five books called The Pentateuch, or The Books of the Law, Genesis - Deuteronomy, twelve books called The Books of History, Joshua - Esther, six books called The Books of Poetry, Job

• Song of Solomon, and Lamentations, and The Books of Prophecy,

Isaiah and Jeremiah, and Ezekiel - Malachi. Of the Books of Prophecy, each book is named after the prophet which the book is about. Isaiah - Daniel are called the "major prophets" because they are the longest books of prophecy, and Hosea - Malachi are called the "minor prophets" because they are the shortest books of prophecy.
