Why did the Central Powers lose World War 1?

By comparison with the Entente, the resources of the Central Powers were fewer. Their chances of victory depended heavily on knocking out France in the first few weeks of the war. This failed.

The astonishing thing is that the Central Powers managed to hold out against the Entente for so long.

they were not invited to the Paris peace conference because they were not trusted after they sent the zimmerman telegram to try and decieve the Ambassador of Mexico.
