Does former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr oppose same-sex marriage?

His current statements are that he is not opposed to gay marriage and he has become aligned with the Libertarian's view on marriage. However, he was the author of DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) which is a federal law defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
