What does a jolly old man in a trimmed red suit called Santa Claus have to do with the birth of the Son of God?

Absolutely Nothing! This is the main objection to Clausism from a Religious standpoint. the idiotic ( Kneeling Santa) involves confusing a biblical reality with a MYTH involving magic and- a 300-400 year time warp to get (Santa) to the Nativity Crib scene. It wold be like having James Bond ( a ficitonal character, hit in some explosion and transported to Elizabethan England- not a bad plot idea.
