Are Haitians mixed with other ethnics?

Yes, as the island is multicultural. There are some who are a mix of African, French and Indigenous heritage. Due to the many different Europeans who settled on the island, there are Haitians of French, Spanish, Italian, English, Polish, German, Swedish, Armenian, Russian and Dutch descent. Some are of Jewish or Middle Eastern stock as well. Those of Arab descent can be of Syrian, Lebanese, or Palestinian descent. On the island of Haiti, there are also residents of East Asian descent, as well as East Indian descent. There are also sizeable communities of Hispanic ancestry, primarily Cuban and Dominican. 80% of the population is predominantly black, while the rest are mixed, Mulatto, White (etc.)
