Should pastors divorce

No one should divorce until the very last minute. When you marry you make the promise "'Til death do us part". This is also breaking that promise. The Christian Scriptures tell us (and I paraphrase) that Jesus and his disciples were discussing this very subject. The disciples asked if they could remain married and still do God's work. Jesus is reported to have said (again, I paraphrase) that for those who could adequately spread the Gospel message whilst married, remain married. For those who found it difficult to divide their time between marriage and family life and preach the Gospel as well, it is better not to marry. It is important to remember that Peter and some others of the disciples were already married. Jesus did not ask them to separate from their wives.
