Is Nike Pegasus 83 good for running a marathon?

It looks like a good shoe, but the Nike Air Pegasus+ 28 seems to be more popular. The Nike Air Pegasus '83 is a very obscure shoe model, and it doesn't seem to be very popular. It would be safer to go with a more popular model like the Pegasus+ 28.
