How do you resign a guardianship?

I was under guardianship of my grandparents. If you are a guardian, you must have court ordered papers. Take it out and read it; you'll find out which court ordered the guardianship. Go back to that court and ask to be removed from guardianship. More than likely, that child will be returned to the parent or social services will place that child under foster care. Otherwise, you are released from guardianship when the child turns 18 years of age.
