Take I-5 NORTH to I-90 EAST via I-405 NORTH in suburban Seattle, Washington. (Exit at EXIT 156B off I-5 to get onto I-405 NORTH, then take I-405 to I-90 EAST to SPOKANE at EXIT 11.) On I-5 you can bypass Portland, OR by taking I-205. (Exit at EXIT 288 onto I-205 NORTH to SEATTLE, take I-205 around Portland back to I-5 NORTH in nearby Washington.)
