What is the origin of trolley?

From the Word "troller", the device that allows an electrical current to pass from an overhead wire to a streetcar.

Both Words are made from Word "troll" - the practice of fishing by drawing a baited line or lure behind a boat, because from the side, the dragging lines made the car seem to be 'trolling' as in fishing.
