What did people do to pass the time during world war 2?

People played music, cards, checkers, Chess, but no sports because they thought they could become tired and wouldn't be able to fight as well. Also people weaved, and loved to draw even though it was a luxury and most people didnt have the materials to draw. they also loved going to church and telling stories from The Bible and other stories in general
