How many women were in the silent sentinels?

The Silent Sentinels were a group of women suffragists who protested for women's voting rights in the early 20th century, particularly from 1917 to 1919. The group, organized by Alice Paul and the National Woman's Party, consisted of about 1,000 women. These women stood in front of the White House holding banners and demanding suffrage, making them some of the first to picket the White House for their cause.
